End User License Agreement (EULA)

This EULA covers (1) free desktop gbr-agent binaries for Windows, macOS, and Linux, and (2) the Grok Build Remote mobile applications distributed through Apple App Store and Google Play. Website terms are in the Terms of Service.

1. License grant — free Agent binaries

Subject to this EULA, Licensor grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and run the official gbr-agent binaries on computers you own or control, solely to use Grok Build Remote as intended (pair with the mobile app, discover local sessions, inject authorized commands).

You may:

Install and run the binary on your machines
Make a reasonable number of backup copies
Use the agent commercially for your own development workflows

You may not:

Redistribute modified binaries or claim they are official
Sell, sublicense, or rent the Agent as a standalone product
Reverse engineer except where mandatory law allows
Remove copyright or proprietary notices
Treat the private source repository as open source (it is not MIT/GPL)

2. License grant — mobile Apps

Mobile Apps are paid ($13.00 USD one-time, or closest store tier). They are licensed, not sold. Apple and Google license terms for apps downloaded from their stores also apply and prevail where they conflict regarding store distribution. Mobile apps are not free; only the desktop Agent binaries are free under section 1.

3. Ownership

All rights, title, and interest in the software, trademarks, and documentation remain with Licensor. No rights are granted except as expressly stated.

4. Updates

Licensor may provide updates. Updates may be required for continued relay compatibility. Older binaries may stop working with production infrastructure.

5. Data & privacy

Use of the software is subject to the Privacy Policy. Commands and terminal output may transit third-party infrastructure you configure (relay / API).

6. Open-source components

The Agent and Apps may include third-party open-source components under their own licenses. Those licenses govern those components only.

7. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using and destroy copies of the software. Sections on ownership, disclaimer, liability, and governing law survive.

8. Disclaimer

SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK FOR COMMANDS YOU INJECT AND FOR SYSTEM CHANGES RESULTING FROM USE OF THE AGENT OR APPS.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LICENSOR’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM THIS EULA OR THE SOFTWARE IS LIMITED AS STATED IN THE Terms of Service.

10. Export & sanctions

You must comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws when downloading or using the software.

11. Governing law

Governed by the laws of Sweden. Consumer protections that cannot be waived remain available where they apply.
