Build Remote Agent is an independent, third-party product by Linespotting AB. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by xAI or SpaceX, and it is not covered by the Grok trademark. “Grok” is used solely to describe compatibility with the user’s own, locally installed Grok Build CLI.

Build Remote Agent is a multi-surface client for the same remote-CLI product:

Feature request source · Grok (v0.5)

The v0.5 product slice (voice-to-text injects on mobile, richer colorized TUI streaming with scrollback, optional self-hosted relay, desktop auto-start as a background service, and in-app session health checks) was suggested by Grok as feature direction for Build Remote Agent.

Linespotting AB implemented that list on the independent open-source agent + commercial mobile apps stack. Citation is product history only — it does not imply endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with xAI, SpaceX, or the Grok trademark. See independence statement above and Versions · v0.5.

Grok Bot and Claude Control of Grok Build · 2026-08-18

Free agent v0.5.4 + relay 0.5.4 give Grok bot and Claude Cowork the same loop: open / attach a session, take a lease, inject, wait until idle, harvest an excerpt, iterate. Local loopback 127.0.0.1:8788 or the hub Bot URL. Phone stays spectator. Independent Linespotting AB product — not affiliated with xAI or SpaceX.

Grok bot · one instance, many PCs · 2026-08-16

Free agent v0.5.3 + relay 0.5.3 let one Grok bot drive the hub PC locally (127.0.0.1:8788) and other Mac / Linux / Windows machines over the HTTPS relay. Register remotes with gbr-agent fleet add.
