These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Grok Build Remote website (grokbuildremote.com), documentation, free desktop agent binaries (“Agent”), and mobile applications for iOS and Android (“Apps”) (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy and EULA. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Grok Build Remote is a remote-control client for developer terminals and Grok Build sessions. The Agent runs on your computer (Windows, macOS, or Linux). The Apps run on your phone. Communication uses HTTPS to a relay and/or third-party APIs. Your phone and PC do not open direct sockets to each other. You are responsible for what commands you inject into your own machines.
Day-1 use does not require a Linespotting user account. Pairing uses short-lived codes and local device identifiers. You must keep pairing codes and device configuration confidential. You may only pair agents you own or are authorized to control.

We may suspend access to our relay infrastructure for abuse, security risk, or legal compliance.
The Service may depend on Apple, Google, Cloudflare, xAI/Grok, and other providers. Their terms and availability are outside our control. “Grok is the relay” describes a transport pattern; the product is not affiliated with xAI beyond use of public APIs where applicable.
The Service, branding, website, and Agent source code are owned by Linespotting AB / LinespottingOrg. Free binaries are licensed for end-user use under the EULA — not as open source. Feedback you send may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Injecting commands can modify systems — use at your own risk.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LINESPOTTING AB AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the minimum permitted.
You will defend and indemnify Linespotting AB against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your injected commands, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new effective date. Material changes may be highlighted on the website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where allowed.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Sweden have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer protection laws require otherwise.
